Cook Design is a family business that has been operating since 2004.

 

Bruce Cook started as a draftsman in 1981 for local government with the then Rural City of Wodonga. Disiplines were roads, drainage, sewers and water. He learnt survey, earthworks, levels and drainage. In 1989 he joined the practice of Chris Davis Architects and worked on the first version of the new Albury Base Hospital. In 1991 Bruce worked  for CNC homes, then two other architectural practices in the Wodonga area, Kevin Poyner and Paul Simpson. He established his own business in 1994.

 

Graeme Cook started as a draftsman with Strarch International R&D Department before moving into shop detailing with local steel fabricators. He then spent nine years with a local surveyor as a field assistant and survey draftsman.

 

We have worked together as a partnership since 2004, forming Cook Design in 2008.

 

Over the years we have worked on many and varied projects.

Our main successes have been with medium density and residential projects. We particularly enjoy difficult sites and have always found a solution for any particular problem. We like to think outside the box and pride ourselves on cost effective design.
